If you are buying a refrigerated container to export you must have a csc plate and more often a survey report by a registered container surveyor to present to the shipping line supporting that csc plate.

These containers having a very large refrigerator contained within the shell of the container which is termed integral and they are therefore considerably heavier than a dry standard container , a 20 foot refrigerator can weigh approx 4 ton .and a 40’ can weigh 5 ton. so when being delivered the lorry mounted crane will not have the versatility in positioning as they would with a much lighter standard dry container , always discuss your delivery and positioning with your supplier.
